SMC Racing
Starting in October 2020, SMC Racing has been generous providing support with their line of Lipo batteries. By staying with the same battery type from one manufacturer during the course of testing has helped remove one critical variable. As we know, not all batteries are the same. SMC's battery quality is well known throughout the industry and their are continually looking for ways to improve performance, increase life span, and bring down costs. All challenging efforts in this current economic situation, yet they seem to be able to achieve these goals. |

We have tried a few different batteries from a variety of manufacturers, and we have yet to find a better performing lipo battery pack. If anything in our fleet needs to move fast, there is an SMC Racing battery under the hood.

Earlier in 2021 while researching crawler tires, I was growing frustrated with the number of companies who cannot or choose not answer product questions. One company who actually took the time to answer detailed questions about their products and development history was JConcepts. Located in Groveland, Florida, JConcepts is one of the leading companies in the RC racing scene with an excellent selection of tires and wheels, unique bodies, accessories, and a growing suite of RC crawler tires. Over the past year I've sent dozens of emails with questions about their products, and each email was answered promptly with a considerable amount detail. As a writer, this makes my work much easier and allows for the tire reviews to contain detailed, unique, and factual information. |
